Amoges hand painted china three piece desk set. Amoges China was a short lived china company during the mid 1940's in Trenton, New Jersey. We believe this is a Limoges blank imported from France and hand painted by Amoges. Set includes inkwell with insert, letter holder or pen holder and tray. Set is decorated with floral gold leaf design on mint green background. Bottoms are marked with red script Amoges Hand Painted. Tray is 9" across and 6 3/4" deep. Inkwell is approximately 4" at widest point and 3" to top of knob. Holder is 5 1/4" wide and 3 3/4" high at back. This lovely old desk set is in fantastic condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Only some wear to gold on edges and circle on tray where inkwell sits. Photos do have glare on floral portion but there is no wear to flower pattern at all.
