Fostoria made this cobalt blue glass pitcher for Avon from 1977 to 1979 to commemorate the Bi-Centennial.  Footed pitcher has lovely curved  shape, diamond pattern near bottom and ribbed top.  The focal point is a large oval medallion with Mt. Vernon, George Washington's home, depicted with a raised and frosted design.  Is 5 1/2" high and in excellent condition.
