Blue stoneware cookie jug by Monmouth Pottery.  Top of jug is lid complete with real cork and is light shade of blue with raised feather like design.  Base is gray with the word Cookies across front with flower design.  Base is marked with Monmouth ILL USA inside maple leaf.  Cookie jar measures 7 1/2" wide and 11" high.  Does have 1/2" base chip (please see picture) otherwise super cookie jar.  Would be great on counter in your country kitchen.
