Hand painted Covered butter dish decorated with blue rooster design. Similar to Rooster and Roses but not the same.  Top of lid is decorated with rooster, blue tulip and foliage with red and yellow berries. Bottom has berry decoration. Marked on bottom Hand Painted. Though not marked made in Japan this set is from Japan. Measures 7" long 2.5" high and 4" wide. No chips or cracks only some clean age crazing.   Have other pieces available in this pattern.
