Description Commemorative plate of 75th anniversary of Cook, Nebraska from 1888 - 1963. Various city landmarks are depicted on front of plate with comments on back along with dates. For instance, railroad 1888, electric lights 1913, elm tree on Main Street planted 1888 and so much more. Things like, "Cook is often called the Artesian City known for the flowing wells." Comments end on back with, "All 314 population of Cook take pride in being The neatest little town in South East Nebraska."
Pictures on front are, blacksmith shop, auditorium, old bank, new bank, the community school, business district, old street scene, United Church of Christ, Grace Lutheran Church and Methodist Church.
Plate is 9 1/4" and has gold sponge effect rim. This unique plate celebrating Cook's anniversary is in excellent condition.
