Porcelain miniature oil lamp base decorated with various courting couple scenes. Pearl luster finish is trimmed in gold and features three courting couple scenes around the base. Does not have chimney. Screw or handle has star design on it. Base of lamp is marked ESD Japan in wreath under lion with crown. Beneath that is Hand Painted and 1723. Lamp still has original foil sticker saying An Enterprises Exclusive. Base measures 4" across including finger handle. It is 3" to top of metal. Lamp base is in excellent condition. Very unique item for the Courting Couple collector.
