Hand painted pottery wall pocket predominately blue and white with blue and red flowers. Round with two small handles and the word Perejil across the top. Perejil means parsley in spanish but believe this pertains to the Isla Perejil or island Perejil. Perejil lies off Morocco and was conquered by Portugal in 1415 and was under Spanish control since 1668. Lately it has been claimed by Morocco. Though pocket is unmarked as to maker believe it was made either in Portugal or Spain. Wall pocket vase measures 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" and has no chips or cracks only the beginning of clean crazing.
