King Kamehameha 8" figure. Cast resin done in Cocojoe's carved wood style. Real wood was actually blended in the casting mix to create the Hapa-Wood line. Base is impressed with Cocojoes circular logo. 1980 copyright on base. Back of statue is flat and has paper label telling a little about King Kamehameha. That he conquered all the islands and united them under his rule, bringing peace to Hawaii.
Excellent detail. Figure is not chipped but has developed some cracks in areas where there are crevices. Have tried to capture in photos. Still a great addition to your retro Hawaiian kitsch collection.
