Pope Gosser covered casserole dish from their line number 1183.  Design consists of gold scrolls on a cream rim with white center.  Backstamp has Pope-Gosser, U.S.A. below covered dish and was used on china from 1902 to 1958.  Covered casserole measures 10 1/2" from handle to handle.  Casserole opening is 7 1/2" in diameter.  From table to tip of knob on lid is approximately 6".  Casserole lid has some clean age crazing and one small blue mark perhaps from ink?  Otherwise this nice old casserole dish is in great condition.
