Miniature stoneware cobalt jug made by Wade Pottery for Pusser's Rum. Though empty it still has it's original cork. The back tells of British Navy Pusser's Rum and on each side it is flanked by a ships anchor. The Killick's Anchor is the symbolic anchor of the seaman as designated by the British Admiralty and the one used on uniforms in the Royal Navy. It is a very old design for which he etymology is not known. Nevertheless, its unique design has long been associated with the Jack Tars (sailors) of the Royal Navy, and later with those of the U.S. Navy.
This squatty jug is 2 1/2' high and in excellent condition.
