From Royal Doulton's Valentine's Day series of plates this is the plate introduced for 1977. Plate features boy and girl amidst a circle of flowers. Together they are tying a bow on a floral heart while a bluebird flies past with a letter in its beak. Marked Valentine's Day 1977 on front with a Valentine verse on back. Plate is 8 1/4" and in excellent condition. Comes without the box.
