Tony Weller Bosson from 1964. 5" x 4". Made of chalk Bossons are models of heads and figurines produced in high detail and all models are hand painted. The company closed its doors in 1996 causing these sought after collectibles to go up even more in value. One of the reasons that Bossons are so collectible is because of their high detail, and realism. Unfortunately chalk is easily damaged and the value of Bossons are very dependent on condition. They can be professionally re-touched which greatly increases their value.
This Bosson has the recessed hanger and is marked on back and on bottom. In very good condition. Paint flakes on rim of hat brim, one 1/4" long. Small nick on side back.
