Comet in the Stars, Early American Pattern Glass by U.S. Glass Company no 15150, circa 1913 to 1914.  Stunning large oval dish measures 10 1/2" long, 5 1/4" wide and almost 3" deep.  There is a striation or straw mark in bottom of dish that is typical of this glass and a couple of places that a fingernail catches on the inside of the rim. There is a chip on base near edge that when dish is turned over can be felt and seen but is not noticeable when bowl is upright.  Dish is priced accordingly.  Glass is so clear and bright that it sparkles.
